Ok, I live in Texas and I filed my papers at the TSC.

But if I am to understand, CSC is the one actually processing the papers.

Is this correct?

If so, should I be looking at the CSC timelines instead of the TSC timelines?

Confused in Texas. (Ok, keep the smart a** remarks to yourself)

Look at them both, calculate the average, then add about five months. That's the sophisticated equation I came up with.

Seriously, CSC timelines are the ones you should be concerned with. Those later TSC timelines were cases that were transferred to CSC anyway.

You did the right thing. TSC simply collects the papers and forwards them to CSC. Yes you should be looking at CSC timelines, but these days they really don't mean anything. The good thing is that they may report March in their timelines but they are processing June, even July cases! That is good!

I-751 process:

4/06/09: Mailed I-751 to VSC by Express mail

4/07/09: Received by VSC

4/17/09: Check clearance.

4/20/09: NOA1 received in mail (receipt date: 4/08/09)

4/30/09: Biometric appt. letter received (appt. on May 15th)

5/05/09: Walk-in biometric done

9/02/09: Approval Email (touch on USCUS site)

9/03/09: Approval letter received (decision date: 8/27/09)

9/09/09: Touch, but no change in status on USCIS site.

9/11/09: Green card rec'd.

Don´t know if TSC does K-1 again at all. On the USCIS website that informs about the processing times of the various petitions I can´t find any petition I-129F listed under Texas. For the past few months time they have transfered most petitions to CSC. If they transfered yours too so you should have gotten notice about that.

Always look for the timeline where your case for sure will be taken care for.

Good Luck

The Texas and Nebraska service centers are now collecting the I-129F forms and forwarding them to CSC. The only time line that matters is in California. For those people fortunate enough to be filing at the Vermont center they are seeing much quicker time lines. The CSC has been working to finish up a big backlog caused by a new law in March. Now the people getting approved are all over the place. I figure in another month things will settle down to what use to be normal. Generally it has taken about 3 months for the processing from CSC but only the future will tell what actually will happen. The USCIS has been reorganizing and this has caused many delays. Additionally the USCIS must deal with various regulations being handed down from Homeland Security.

Try to be patient. Make sure your email account with USCIS is set up so you can notice "touches" and start making plans for her arrival. Remember that the 90 day period can go quickly and it is likely not to be when you really would want it. Also, check with the timeline of the embassy in her country for likely processing times. This is only the first waiting period, but the most frustrating. Hang in there!
