Since when do Presidents and their aides write so much damn legislation on their own anyway? This guy is such a narcissistic jack #######.

Let me tell you what this speech is. It's Obama admitting that he's GUILTY of failing the economy. Everything he's done up until not has not worked. He's spent trillions of dollars for nothing and now we've got to do something else because obviously we haven't done anything worth while.

If Obama truly gave a damn about the American people, he'd resign!

We're about an hour away from hearing the president's speech before the joint session of Congress where he'll present his jobs plan. And the White House is giving us a sneak peek into what he'll say tonight.

On stopping "the political circus":

The people of this country work hard to meet their responsibilities. The question tonight is whether we’ll meet ours. The question is whether, in the face of an ongoing national crisis, we can stop the political circus and actually do something to help the economy; whether we can restore some of the fairness and security that has defined this nation since our beginning.

On working together to "make a difference":

Those of us here tonight cannot solve all of our nation’s woes. Ultimately, our recovery will be driven not by Washington, but by our businesses and our workers. But we can help. We can make a difference. There are steps we can take right now to improve people’s lives.

There is "nothing controversial" here:

I am sending this Congress a plan that you should pass right away. It’s called the American Jobs Act. There should be nothing controversial about this piece of legislation. Everything in here is the kind of proposal that’s been supported by both Democrats and Republicans – including many who sit here tonight. And everything in this bill will be paid for. Everything.

What the American Jobs Act means:

The purpose of the American Jobs Act is simple: to put more people back to work and more money in the pockets of those who are working. It will create more jobs for construction workers, more jobs for teachers, more jobs for veterans, and more jobs for the long-term unemployed. It will provide a tax break for companies who hire new workers, and it will cut payroll taxes in half for every working American and every small business. It will provide a jolt to an economy that has stalled, and give companies confidence that if they invest and hire, there will be customers for their products and services. You should pass this jobs plan right away.

We can spend all day blaming Bush for all we want to, but at the end of the day once you understand the economics of it all, you realize that the only thing Bush did was have deficit spending with the war, and increase the debt. Oh and of course trample liberty with the Patriot Act..... Our current economy however, the makings and nail in the coffin were placed during the Clinton administration and started with the Reagan administration selecting Greenspan as Chairman of the Fed.

Yeah yeah, we get it. You're also violating procedure. You aren't allowed to present a bill to congress. A bill can only be presented to congress by a MEMBER OF CONGRESS.

I remember watching a video where this guy kept selling the idea of rapid change that was "good for everyone" and must be done right away. It amazes me that nobody makes the connection to that guy and the knucklehead on TV last night.
