I had a biometrics appt on Aug. 9, but I missed it for some reason. I read some posts on this forum, so I wrote the Application Center a letter to reschedule one. However, I didn't hear anything back from them, so I did a walk-in on Sept 2 to get my biometrics done. But now, I got a new problem. On Sept 5, I received another biometrics notice, which I believed to be rescheduled appt (for Sept. 14). The problems is that When I went to the office on Sept 2, I brought my old appt. notice (which I missed to appear). The new notice was sent out on Aug. 30, which was before I did the walk-in. I assumed this is the rescheduled notice to cover my old one. Now, I'm worried because the new notice was sent out BEFORE I did the walk-in, I'm not sure, but it might have a different bar code on it. I called the USCIS, they told me to go to the cneter again on the new date. It's a pretty long drive and I have to ask my friend to drive me there. So I wonder what I could do to find out whether I really have to go again or not? If I have to go, I'll go. I was thinking about writing a letter to the Application Center again to clarify this, but the person from USCIS said the center might not get back to me on time. So, if anyone knew about this situation, please let me know. Thank you very much!

I'd phone them back and tell them you already had your biometrics and see what happens.

Sounds like your walk in will be fine, as you said the new letter was sent before you did the walk in. your Details, Photo, Fingerprints and Signature all went into the system. if it makes you feel better then call and hopefully someone will give you a better service this time.
