Hi,

Here's the situation I am currently unemployed and my mom is my joint sponsor & my dad will be her household member because they will combine their income & they joint tax.

The question is for my I-864, Part 5. how do i count my household size, do i have to put my parents on my household count or only me & my husband?

& for my the household income part do i have to include their on household income or just put 0 becuz my mom will fill out her own I-864?

On my mom's I-864, does she need to count me on the household size? its 5 of us, my husband, me, our son, mom & dad. I am my parents dependent & my brother claim our son on his income tax so do i have to count my son?

thank you so much guys in advance.. I really appreciate your help.. I really need to sent it this week..

Did you say that your parents claimed you as a dependent on their most recent tax return? If so, you are in their household count.

And did someone other than you claim your son as a dependent?

You complete your I=864 with all the accurate income information and provide the supporting documentation. Only enter zero where zero is the correct amount.

I see this from your orginal post - did your parents claim you as dependent in their 2010 tax return! Did you file tax returns! - if yes, for which years.
