"Address in the US where your relative intends to live"

So I'm a USC living abroad with my husband. On line 18. where it asks "Address in the US where your relative intends to live," I have no idea what to put.

Here's why:

my parents are not living in the US for the past few years (they are americans)

i have no other family in the US at the moment

my residence address is a ups box to collect mail

Should I put the address of a trusted friend who lives the city/state i normally files taxes (those awesome 2555 forms)?

Any answers are appreciated!

That is one option and the true answer would be "Not decided yet".

you are going to have to establish a US domicile as part of this process. If your friend's address is what you plan to use then list that one.

NavyK. - Thinking about the "not yet decided" but don't want them to think that we're completely clueless people.

We know we're headed back to CA so I'll use a friend's address that where I normally crash anyway when I visit.

Your friends address is perfect to be used - after all that is your plan and go ahead with that answer.

The fact that you both are living abroad together, which is a proof of continuing relationship, may come up at interview time. Also there is no DCF now in most countries and all need to file I-130 and as such that is not clueless answer.
