K-1 process

If My fiancee lives in Sao paulo does she have to go to Rio for her k-1 interview? or is there one in SP?

do we have a choice or it is chose by the government?

I've looked at all the consulate reviews and all I see are Rio, Rio, Rio, Rio, Rio....etc... does this mean there is none in Sao Paulo??

Help, would like to start planning ahead even though Im just starting the process.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Sao Paulo doesn't do immigrant visas. You must go to Rio. If she has to do the medical in Rio probably plan on at least 2 to 3 days. You might need less than that. If the medical can be done near home you could go the day before the interview.

Hello Bryan, this is my second K1 Visa with the same groom. Really all are correct in saying: _ "That the interview in relation to the K1 Visa is only in Rio de Janeiro.'ll Have to check, hotels, medical tests (done before). May be one or two daysbefore. And I will not remember you and everyone here (when the visa is approved, there is a fee to be paid within the American Consulate at a kiosk Post office. thatthe fee for sending the passport already paid and most documents that yourFiancée will receive and deliver U.S. authorities when arriving at the airport (onlyon U.S. soil). Good Luck! Solgood.gif
