Maybe it is just me but I never saw the house I would be willing to be miserable for, and prowling the streets for sex when I have a wife would make me miserable. Some things you just gotta get from your wife and that is one of them. Hell, they tolerate you eating others women's cooking, but you better not be getting dessert from them, right?

Heck I have nearly been croaked off twice in my life and other than that I haven't had any other bad days, now that I look back on it. Losing a house or all the rest of the stuff I have wouldn't bother me as much as living with a woman that said she was going to wean me off sex. I would try to stuff as many of my guns as possible in the mini-van, though.

That's the spirit...I have those foam padded black vinyl gun cases and the cardboard box they came in. You can get em from wallymart for peanuts. Then I have checked with UPS - I can mail my guns to myself to pick up at any UPS depot in the US and they keep them there without charge for a while. $35 insured to most places for a 26 lb gun and accessories.

NO FFL dealer involved.

I am not paranoid following my experiences, but I do tend to cover my botty by researching my fall back positions and getting the logistics in place 'just in case'. Any person can go nuts and you can be living with a total she-devil by Friday. Marriage is such a blank check in that regard. That being the case its only sensible to set up a withdrawal route, cleared for mines, in advance

Women do it too and they always have a secret pot of gold tucked away - always.

I guess I am a survivalist but it doesn't include rations and water and ammo and tents - it involves knowing the divorce laws in fine detail in every state I have lived in - just in case...

You don't let the same dog bite you twice - coz that ain't smart.

Being married is like selling something for 2k on craigslist - its possibly with immense care and a lot of trust but verify

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
