Any one that had been to Channai for interview, please share your experience with VFS document submission (particularly regarding medical report).

Just searching few topics on submission of Medical report to VFS and found one guy, Mohammedshoeb, who had the interview in 1st week of August. He has shared his experience. Accrording to him the pre-screener(Indian lady) took the Medical report on the day of the interview. Please check the link below:

So any Chennai VJer who have their interview scheduled in September, please share your experience on medical report submission.

Chennai Bound, we can either take the medical report to VFS and submit it at VFS, if ready or we can take the medical report to the interview. Here is the clarification from VFS (Chennai Consulate gives link of VFS for any clarification). We also know that one of the Chennai bound had submitted his/her medical report at interview without any issue. So we have flexibility.

Thank you for writing to us,

Kindly note that you are advisable to carry the medical documents at the time of the submission of the courier fees along with relevant documents. Further, if incase you are not able to produce the medical documents on time then you may carry the medical documents at the time of the US visa interview.

All NVC has dispatched all the cases that have been scheduled with interview dates on September 15th (DHL by reference - EXP 14 SEP 2011A). And they are in transit at Cincinnati HUB, OH as on 9/16/2011 at 2:07 AM. Should reach the respective Consulates by Monday (9/19/2011), due to week end.

For those who are going to chennai consulate for IR-1/CR-1 interviews either this month or next month the following information may be helpful. My wife interview is scheduled next month and we will be submitting the following list of things during the interview. If I am missing anything please feel free to share their views.

Proof of telephone calls(prior to marrige until the closest interview date)

4-5 Egreetings that were sent to each other

5-10 emails that were sent to each other

Gift receipts for her birthday

Engagement Pictures(20 pics)

copy of boarding passes or exit and entry passport stamps

copy of airtickets

Wedding:

Wedding Pictures(approximately 50)

Wedding Invitation Cards

Copy of wedding hall certificate

Copies of wedding ring receipts

Copies of Air tickets and Boarding passes that I visited her

Exit and Entry stamps on my passport

Honeymoon Pictures:

Honey moon pictures(15 pics)

Proof of air tickets and Boarding passes that we travelled together

Exit and Entry stamps on both of our passports

Recent india trip:

I heard from someone that whatever we submitted to USCIS/NVC we also need carry the copies during the interview. Is that true? If that is the case the following copies needs to be carried during the interview? Please advise

Ganesh, wife got medical scheduled on 10/7 at Hyd and I am planning to reach Chennai on 10/24.

All 3 DHL packets were delivered at respective consulates on 9/19.

If the medical examination center doesn't open on Saturday then she as to revisit on Monday. Most likely on the same day she will visit VFS office to submit her reports if at all VFS accept it. When I checked on consulate website, it says no earlier than 15 days but it will be over 20 days. Let us see what their reponse is.

Hopefully Hyderabad VFS should accept those as they will have to send those to Chennai VFS. Keep me posted of the developments.

By the way Dr. Songa emailed back to me stating the expenses would be around INR 7000 - he also gave her a tentative medical date of 10/07 9AM, which wife will confirm depending on her train ticket to Hyd.
