What information NVC will be sending to me and my fiance? Do we have to pay any new fees here in the U.S or destination country? How many documents Packet 4 contains? Thanks for your earlier response. -Nathan

In general NVC will issue you a case nuber for your embassy and forward your package to them. What information and things they need from you should get sent to the foreign fiance, in pkt 3. You send the required info back to the embassy and they will send you your interview date or what some call pkt4.

Also heres a link on calling NVC or DOS: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

NVC can tell you they have recieved your USCIS case and DOS can tell you if the case got to the embassy and other info about your case at the embassy.

You can check your embassy info and what is required by clicking your embassy link in this link:

There is another link at the top of the page where you can read reviews of people who have intervied at your embassy.

Good luck
