Depends on why you don't have the third year. If, for example, it is because you didn't make any money the third year because you were a student then that is fine, just write a letter explaining that. One months paystub isn't very much, but if you just started a new job and it's all you have, there isn't much you can do about that. I'd include a letter from the employer that this is a long-term, stable job with salary of X.

Hi friends,

pls l want to find out if 2years taxes can be accepted instead of 3years and 1 month pay stub. thx

hi,

According to the newly updated preparatory packet from the embassy for K1 {http://photos.state.gov/libraries/nigeria/231771/Public/K1Packet.pdf} the least Lagos will accept will be 3-4yrs. I strongly suggest you start shopping for a co-sponsor pronto. The risk isn't worth it. I wish you guys all the best

Since you only have one pay stub I would also include a letter from your employer stating how long you have been employed how much you make and brief job description...I also only sent one year of tax return and was fine...and at the time Lagos requested 2yrs tax return...It really just depends on the CO and what mood they are in. good luck

i agree with S_R. This is Nigeria you are dealing with. I had sent three years of tax returns and a full years stubs. Mind you I have been in the same firm for five years. YOU will need to have a co-sponsor who has a solid income record for the last 3-4s. Also, it would be extremely crucial for you to obtain an letter from your employer stating you have permanent position with the company.

Good luck. Just remember frond loading is important with your petition, more means stronger petition. The CO needs to be convinced. Take care!
