UPS screw up :S

Ok so we had an rfe on my ds 230, so i mailed it back via ups, they delivered it to portsmouth uk, then collected it back, re wrote label, after major delays should be delivered today, BUT, they wrote the nvc address, and missed out the ATTN.CMR so what will happen as far as delays, will it be delivered etc so down this ups alone, has delayed us 9days, on a service we paid for next day, just a joke

This happened to my older brother when he tried to petition his wife and kids. He had to send his I-864 and all the copies from his CR-1 petition. He used UPS to send his paperwork and needed it in The Philippines right away and UPS stated that the paperwork will be their in a few short days. Those short days became 29 days and arrived less than a week before their visa interview. No one from UPS contacted him and when he inquired about his package, they could not even locate it. They told him to call them back in a few days and called back later and UPS stated that his paperwork was still sitting in Jacksonville, Florida awaiting delivery. Also, the paperwork stated UPS handed off their package to USPS for delivery. So I dunno what's up with that.

I don't think missing the attn. CMR on the envelope will delay things since when they open it, they should realize what's in the envelope and forward it to the right person.

Sorry for your bad experience with UPS. Don't worry about the CMR - that shouldn't be a big issue.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.
