If citizens were armed - WHILE GOING ABOUT THEIR DAILY BUSINESS - we wouldn't need anyone to patrol the streets.

I often wonder why government has a problem with that. Society obviously has no problem with armed people around them because we have armed police who patrol the streets on a daily basis. We're not scared of guns. We're scared of who has the guns.

Wonder where that comes from.

Here in Ohio anyone (not disabled) can OC. CHL is needed for CCW but it's pretty liberal in the regard of the law. In practice, however, is quite a different story. Our urban areas are notorious for prohibiting things and if not outright prohibiting them, making it difficult to practice.
