how recent should your petitioner provide the pay stubs. Will it already be ok if he provided you with his last pay stub which was 1 month before the interview? Example, the last pay stun he gave me was as of august 12, and my interview will be on the 27th. will it be ok already?

i called them tuesday and told me it's still with the Consul who interviewed me. Then I emailed same day and got a reply yesterday that it's been issued already. The email address i used was ivmanilareplies@state.gov. Don't forget to quote your case number and petitioner and date of your interview.

It should be the pay stubs for the last 3 months before your interview. That's what i submitted. :)

Where is the requirement to show 3 months written down anywhere? I don't recall that, it says RECENT. That means ONE would be fine. So would three. So would 12. The concern is to show that the sponsor is still employed. Same with bank statements.

More will not hurt, but it is not required. My fiancee was asked if I sent her money like thru Xoom or something, and she replied, "No, he gave me an ATM card, and I use that." So she had to show receipts for ATM withdrawals. There is no written requirement to show a certain quantity of each type of proof, just that you HAVE proof.

My fiancee printed so durn many emails and Skype chats that she burned thru 3 ink cartridges on her printer. Did the CO ask to see some? Yes. Did she want to see ALL of them? Oh no!! She just laughed cuz my asawa brought SO MUCH proof of everything.

My interview was Sept 2, I brought 12 months pay stubs w/ me, august 2010-august 2011 but the pre-screener didn't take them. he didn't even look at them. He just took the Tax return, W2 and the employment certificate...I don't advise u not to bring any, better if u bring as many as u can...in case they'll ask more than what's on their requirement.....

Good luck!

Thanks guys for the help..atleast I know that the pay stubs my fiance sent me was already good...probabaly I will bring his pay stubs from June - August..anyway he had sent me his W2's and ITR all good for 3 years 2008-2010 plus his employment from federal job and signed contract on his new contract jobs. I hope all of that will already be good to the CO.

Your list looks good. You should be good to go.

Three months of recent pay stubs will demonstrate current sustained income.

I gotcha, lucky you, getting thru to a person who could actually answer a question for you!

I tried many times, only got thru twice, and the person was about no help at all, just told me to email, which I had done, but was getting nothing but auto-replies.

Hope I didn't sound too harsh asking that, it's just that when someone makes a post on here, even if it's not real accurate, there are many who read it and accept it as FACT, and that's how those packets grow so quickly. :(

I think most people take more than needed, but in the end, if it makes them feel more secure, then all that is lost is time putting it all together. As long as the CO is happy, then all of us end up happy, eh?
