My wife has her visa interview this month, but she needs to get a medical check, on this medical check she needs to get

the Tuberculosis shot, but she is afraid to get it because she is on her third trimester, will it be a problem if she does

not get the shot before her visa interview, will the US Embassy denied her visa because the Tuberculosis shot is a requirement

before she gets her visa, I will appreciate all your advise and all the help I can get.

Shots are given on an age-appropriate basis, and then, there are some other exceptions. All this is listed in the CDC guidelines USCIS uses. I didn't see any tuberculosis, but in any case, I believe they use inactive vaccines now (meaning it has been radiated and the active organism has been nuked). There might be an exception for pregnant women. Also, as far as I recall, what they do is a test for tuberculosis and if positive, X-rays are ordered, being pregnant, X-ray is not an option but don't know what USCIS position would be in this cases. Also notice that in some countries that do vaccine for tuberculosis in the past, they used non-inactive vaccines so, it would show positive when in fact there is nothing. The doctor in her country should know about this and would make the corresponding notes.

Good luck!

Id' do a bit more research in the USCIS and CDC sites.

attaching CDC guidelines (is the most current one, we used it just 2 months ago to get my fiancee off the hook in a couple of vaccines)

What TB shot? They do a TB TEST but the shots are only if she HAS TB and if she does then she should see her doctor.
