My fiance had his interview and they was an error on one form. The interviewer told him he passed but told him to do the form again while they will keep his case on the Adminstrative Process. I will like to know more info about the AP stage. My fiance turned in the form they asked for so how long will it take for them to give him his visa??? Please help me, I really need to know. Thanks in advance.

I think no one has responded because no one can really answer this. It could be days or months. No one knows to be able to give you a solid answer to this. That, and you just posted a few minutes ago.

Last time I posted something people responded quickly. I didn't want to offend anyone.

I just want an idea of how long the wait time will be.

Last time was a much easier question. Theres no answer to this one. Do a search on here about AP, people from MENA countries and see what you find. Some of them are scarier then you want to hear about.

Thank you for all your help. I really appreciate it!!!

No problem I don't want to scare you cause many do get out of AP after 2 or 3 months but there are other extremes. Good luck!

We could tell you a length of time but we all could be wrong because no one knows how long your AP is going to be. To be honest with you it could last another year or so but hope for a shorter time

Thanks for the info......I pray to god it does not take that long. I cant wait anymore :(

Amber, my husband has been in AP/AR for 8 months. They needed additional documents from us and it took them 3 months to review them. After 5 months they called him for a second interview. Now we are in AP just waiting. They have had his passport for 8 months with no end in sight.

This is what Islamabad is doing to us. I know people that got out of AP in 4 months and got their visa. No one knows how long your case will be in AP. Try to be strong and proactive about your case. Email the embassy and call DOS every so often to check on your case.

Stay busy and try to enjoy family and friends while you wait. At some point your AP will end.

Thanks a lot for the information. I email the Islamabad Embassy everyday since my fiance submitted the form. It was only 1 form they requested again. I pray that it doesn't not take that long.

Did you apply by fiance or by marriage?
