Last Friday after I received the AOS bill in my inbox, I sent the OPTIN email to convert the file from paper to electronic processing. The automated reply I received told me 10 business days to receive a response.

For those who have previously opted in (by choice or requirement) to electronic processing, I was wondering how long it took to receive a response that the OPTIN to EP had been accepted?

Thanks in advance!

For myself it was 18 days. But I've seen a few cases recently where it was less than a week to get optin acceptance. Hope you get lucky and get yours this week!

I'm not sure if I'm doing things in the correct order... but as soon as I got my GUZ numbers (August 31), I did the OPTIN along with the DS-3032 on September 1. September 2, my wife and I received e-mails with a letter saying "The immigrant visa petition recently filed on your behalf is now eligible for further processing at the National Visa Center (NVC)..." The letter also had the IIN and the barcoded yet expired DS-3032 along with some instructions. There were 2 e-mails, on one, the subject said "ACL Universal" and the other said "PAOSF I-130 Universal." With the GUZ and IIN, I paid the AOS fee on September 2. I noticed an error on my wife's address, so I called NVC on September 6 to ask if they could correct it. That's when they told me my GUZ numbers have changed to GZO. On the following day, my wife, not me, had received an e-mail saying "Dear Sir/Madam: The National Visa Center (NVC) received your correspondence. This case is now enrolled in the Electronic Processing Program..." I don't know if this is what you were looking for, but I hope it helps.
