hope you are doing fine

I have heard something which i want to share with you guys!

I've heard that recently there is a law that a LPR can bring her/his spouse while applying for their green card!!!!so they could wait in us until they could get thir visas!

Do you have any information about this visa and if this is for real?

please advise.... :hehe:

Where did you get this info? have you search more info to support this? if its for real, then we should celebrate. but how could that be possible? entering the US under what visa, if petition is pending?

One of my buddy in NY applied for his wife. PD Aug 2008, haven't heard anything. Called NVC and told to wait, they said there is no visa available yet in New Delhi. I'm so depressed by the news :crying:

You can enter the US with a I-130 Petition pending on a B-2 Tourist Visa

You may need to show ties to your home country to the officer (e.g. job letter)

It may be difficult to get a visitors visa with a petition pending.

I have recently visited the US with a i-130 petition pending and no questions was asked.

The system you are talking about where spouses of LPR entering the US while awaiting a visa is called the V-Visa. It is however not in use anymore. Please see the following link for further information on the V-VISA.

My wife has visited me from the U.K with a I130 pending and no questions asked just showed her return ticket when asked,she has visited 3 times this year and 4 times last year with no problems,she came on the visa waiver perogram allowing her to visit for 90 days in a12 month period...
