NOA2 received - I134 questions

I received my NOA2 last week and have a couple of questions regarding the I134 Affidavit of Support items.

- Should I get my employment letter now or wait a while? When? I've been with the company for 11 years.

- My salary is comfortably above the requirement levels, should/need I add savings account, stocks, asset, real estate, life insurance info etc as asked on the I134 form?

Thanks.

The letter is not a requirement.. why wait if you are going to get one?

Get the Letter from your Employer stating Salary/Rate of Pay. Full Time/Part Time. How long with the business after 11 years is a BIG PLUS. (All on Company Letterhead and signed of course you know)

Include a Copy of 2010 Taxes and Gross Income.

Include recent paystubs for 2011 since they will show YTD Gross Income.

If your well over Poverty Levels this should be sufficient. No need to include Bank Statements, Savings, Real Estate with the documentation above.

Get your Medical, Visa Fees ETC done with ASAP.

2011 is coming to an end fast.

Good Luck !

Thanks. Shot off an email to HR to request the letter. I just thought the closer the letter date to the interview date the better.

I'm way over the poverty line. The prospect of getting all the statements and having to explain all the incoming and outgoing transactions, account closures, account openings, stock liquidations, real estate transfers etc due to the divorce settlement was stressing me out.

These will have no bearing on your responsibility to support and will not be needed.

Your talking about incoming and outgoing finances. Those have nothing to do with the I-134 your going to submit for the interview. A bank Statement should not be needed. Your History of Income does not appear questionable to be able to support.

YOU WILL GET OTHER REPLIES
