Hey all,

As you can see from my timeline below, I got my biometrics appointment pretty quickly. Until now I haven't received an RFE or a notice that there's a problem with the package we filed. With our application, I sent in some evidence like proof of joint account (letter from the bank), sworn notarized statements, I didn't send in any pictures. I have some questions about the interview:

1) When I go in, do I take the originals of the complete AOS package?

2) If I already sent in evidence, do I need to bring more proof like pictures in addition to the original copies of the letter from the bank and notarized statements?

3) Is my husband allowed to be in the interview room with me or do they interview us separately?

4) All we have is a joint bank account, we have a rented apartment and one car in his name, should I be worried that it won't be enough evidence?

5) Will they ask me stuff about the United States history or is it just for the K-1 or CR-1 applicants, that's where I read it. Or do they just ask about our personal information?

6) And if there's anything else I need to know, please share.

Thanks :)

1) When I go in, do I take the originals of the complete AOS package? Not Necessary but you should know what you filled.

2) If I already sent in evidence, do I need to bring more proof like pictures in addition to the original copies of the letter from the bank and notarized statements? Yes, you should take all original bank Statement, Credit Card statements, any utility bills up to date, any joint cell phone (family Plan) Bill, any Original Lease, Insurance (Beneficiary added as spouse), etc.

A good picture album, including marriage pics, any party pics and pics with friends and families, honey moon etc.

Make a photo copy of all the original documents and keep handy, when IO asked to submit the copies hand over to him.

3) Is my husband allowed to be in the interview room with me or do they interview us separately?

Yes, he will be with you. Some time they separate and ask the questions and compare the answers while both of you in front of IO.

4) All we have is a joint bank account, we have a rented apartment and one car in his name, and should I be worried that it won't be enough evidence?

Good enough, A joint bank account + apartment Lease + both of your names on car insurance or on Car title. (please see the no 2 above)

5) Will they ask me stuff about the United States history or is it just for the K-1 or CR-1 applicants, that's where I read it. Or do they just ask about our personal information?

No, they dont ask about US history. They can ask you and your husband when the beneficiary entered the USA, on which visa, how you met, how you marry , how brother/sisters you have both have (his info to you, and your info to him), where is your parents, did they attend your marriage, did they approved your marriage, did you talk to them, how many times in a week etc.

6) And if there's anything else I need to know, please share.

Be confident, if you have state ID then both of yours ids have same address (it is good), make a set of apartment keys (one with you and another with your husband), at the time of interview dress conservatively, know each other well about family, friends, likes, hobbies, food , movies, TV dramas, etc.
