But what's the nearest hotel to the embassy among them?

The Bayview Park is the closest one amongst them all. It sits right across the street from the Embassy.

Hello Everyone,

I've met so many women and fiance's from far places in the Philippines and their problem is always where to stay. They also hate to spend a lot of money for sleeping.I know a place where it's very cheap so if you guys are looking for a place to just sleep and eat this will be good for you.Just pm me guys this is really helpful for you all. It's just 1000 for a night isn't it nice :)So if you are from the provinces this is good, hotels in manila can be really expensive too.

It is a 42 square meters standard studio type private condo unit, 1 bed room, living room, kitchen, breakfast/dining table, veranda with a nice view at night , it is in the 14th floor so it's nice and breezy, there's a swimming pool in 6th floor, if you want to see a higher view you can go to 34th floor/roof deck. It's a pretty high building and 3 stars.Usually the rate here is 3500-5000 pesos for this kind of room for a night. But since we just wanna help people who are in tight budget it's just 1000 for single occupancy and 1500 for double. You can check out at the time when you check in, for example: you check in at 6pm you can check out at 6pm too. Most of the hotels even cheaper ones don't let you stay like we let you in this place. There's plenty of free mineral water, coffee, coffee creamer, tea, etc, you can cook, we have induction cooker, microwave, bread toaster, kitchen utensils, automatic washing machine, ref, unlimited use of telephone.

If you want a to stay for a month it will be 24,500

For long term like 2 months or so.

the amount will just be 22,500 for one month if you want to stay longer, just add 2000 pesos for the first month because we don't ask 1 month advance and 1 month deposit .

excluding electric bill and water bill.(electric bill usually just 500-1700 pesos a month, when we are here ) But I guess it depends on how you use the electricity, the water bill is between 200-400 pesos a month.

For a hotel it is very cheap, we just bargain it so we can help others too, cause we know how hard it is to come to manila and always worried about where cheaper place can we stay.So here it is guys :)

It is located in Makati Avenue, the surroundings is so much better than the hotels near the st lukes and US embassy, I was gonna stay near to St. Lukes and US embassy before the medical and interview but I'm not used to that kind of surroundings, it's noisy and not organized in those places.I don't know maybe it's just me base of what I've seen.Anyway send me a message if any body is interested.

Just sharing this , good luck everyone on your journey smile.png

I think the best way to stay in Manila is renting a condo. We rented a condo in Dec for two weeks, way less expensive, and more familiar than a hotel. The condo we rented was near the Mall of Asia.

We stayed at hotel soriente the past week. Price was good, P1,799. Was a nice large room, with a comfortable bed and clean cr. Not far from st Luke's, (can see the building out the window at the end of the hall), and a nice walk to robinsons, and lots of options for food nearby. Nice walking to the embassy too. And if you feel like walking to rizal park, that's a nice stroll if you're bored. Sm city Manila is also not too far away, and there is a dfa office in there if you need to get your passport renewed or issued, 5th floor, btw.

One small issue we had, we killed like 20 smallish roaches in our first room in like 20 mins, then we mentioned it to the front desk and they moved us. We still saw some in our new room, but not as many. Hope they spray the 4th floor.

Next time, we might try casa bocobo, or go back to city garden. Not sure yet.

Bad experience with City Garden Suites and directhotels.com. Made an online reservation and direct hotels sent the hotel 2 reservations within 2 seconds. Obviously I made one reservation, but was charged unknowingly for 2 rooms. The hotel didn't care. They said I made 2 reservations so nothing they can do, which is the easy answer to profit off of me. A nice place but lost our future business because of they double charged us and blamed me.

Yes, and do not ever stay at Sandico Hotel in Ermita. Overcharged a day and they did not even blink when my fiancée debated about the bill. Sandico is terrible. We'll never stay there again.

I have stayed at the Copacabana and the Heritage. Both are OK, Heritage is much nicer but more expensive. Quick cab ride to the embassy and Mall of Asia

We stayed at mabini mansion, on our way out, and while it was not bad, I can't say I'd suggest it.

It was a little out of date, and all the rooms are smoking rooms, so if you're sensitive, yeah, it's bad.

The room was nice and big, and for the price we can't really complain. There was a kitchen, and utensils and such, but there are so many options for cheap grub nearby.

We don't think well be heading back there. It was not bad, just not for us.

We prefer hotel soriente ourselves.

Edit-

And soriente is just so much closer to st Luke's too.

There is always the SOGO if you like rooms with plastic sheets and red light on the wall (by the hour) ------- what a dump those are. especially when the large sign in the lobby says "Foreigners Beware: No Minors Allowed Here"

I recommend Copacabana -- there are remodeled suites there so don't be a cheapo when you book. The suites are nice and well worth the extra $$

Look up vacation rentals too if staying in Manila for a couple of days. They're a cheaper than hotels, but with useful amenities. They are also usually near malls.
