Medical question - the order of things

Fiance and her 2 kids go to the doc for their medical. They have had none of the required shots.

Knightsbridge folks send in the paperwork to the Embassy. Appointment made for interview.

Fiance and kids then get free shots from National Health Service. Paperwork provided.

Now, does this mean when we go to the Embassy interview we can bring the paperwork on the shots that we got? Can they annotate the paperwork at that point? Or do we hold on to it until we get stateside then get a civil surgeon to copy the data over to the other forms? The latter seems a waste really. And we sure do not want to pay cash in the US for what we got here in the UK for free.

They will need the vaccines transcribed by a CS here in the US (hold on to the records of having received them). This only costs $25-$50.

You may have been able to get the Knightsbridge doctors to wait to receive the vaccine paperwork before sending everything on to the Embassy, but too late for that now. The Embassy can't add to the medical paperwork. So long as you find a reasonably priced civil surgeon over here you'll be ok.

Oh, and I don't remember how old the kids are, but if they had the first of a series of vaccines and could be due the second in the series then will probably be a good idea to take them into the GP again before moving to the US to make sure they're as up to date as possible, if you see what I mean.

They are as up to date as possible as of today. Then need Hep B and Chicken Pox which are not available here.

Is there perhaps an age specific reason for them not receiving the Hep B vaccine? I'm in the process of getting mine up to CDC requirements and received both the Hep A&B vaccine a fortnight ago.

They are 5 and 7 years old. Shot prices for them are insane in the UK, MUCH cheaper in the states.
