AR-11 and I-865 months after moving

Here's the situation:

About a year ago we moved into a different rental that was just a few away from our old one. We still got mail at the old address and everyone knows us, so I forgot to mail in an update AR-11 and I-865 for the new address.

It's coming time to file my I-751 in a couple of weeks and want to know what is best to do about updating our address. Obviously, my physical address and preferred mailing address is our current number. Will there be any trouble having such an old "effective date of change" on the address change forms? I don't want to lie about when we moved, because we have old documents with our new address.

You are not the first to forget but is necessary to file the change of address forms. Send off the AR-11 and I-865 now, put your new address on your I-751 application and all will be fine. :)
