The actions of individuals, whether they are priests or heads of state, don't define the Word of God. A Muslim following their faith will look to the Quran for the truth, not to the leaders of Iran. The tenets of Islam are determined by a consistent message from God, not by the whims of men. Anyone who believes that most Muslims rise each day to see what the Iranian government has decreed to be "Islamic" that day is not using even atheist logic to support their argument.

You distance yourself from Islamic leaders and other Muslims in various countries and it seems you have carved out your own sect and minister only unto yourself and your values now fit perfectly with modern western values

What hypocrisy - admit that the Muslims in Iran and Saudi are your brothers and sisters in religion and stop disowning them to try and absolve yourself while remaining within the faith and trying to have it both ways.
