Mexico Finds Tunnel On U.S. Border

MEXICO CITY — Mexican federal police say they have found a tunnel dug into a border storm drain that leads into the United States.

Federal police say the tunnel was presumably used to smuggle people into the United States.

It appears smugglers dug a lateral tunnel into a main drain. An exit on the U.S. side was hidden by a cover piled over with dirt.

The tunnel may have also been used to move illicit goods, but the police statement did not specify what goods.

Police said Sunday the tunnel was found Thursday in the Mexican border city of Nogales, across the border from Nogales, Arizona. Police found it acting on information they received after discovering another tunnel in Nogales on Aug. 16.

Now we know how all those millions of illegal American immigrants are sneaking into to Mexico day after day.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Wasn't there a movie that had a scene like that?

My dad got busted way back in the day for hopping the fence from Mexico to the states. He was a bouncer at a strip joint in Mexico and had a few warrants for him in the states. He ended up with a broken ankle on top of some jail time.

I left the country in 2006 with a DUI warrant.

Wasn't scared at all and nobody said sh!t.

Someone being paid minimum wage scans your ticket and that's it.

If I had a serious felony charge I would have been too paranoid although I wouldn't be surprised if you could fly out with a felony warrant and go undetected...

Your dad better have had some serious felony warrants or else he did that for nothing.

From what I know...at least a few of them at the time...he had an outstanding gun related warrant in Arizona, a felony assault charge in San Diego from biting off some guys finger after a Charger game, and he was wanted for questioning involving another shooting when he ran with a group called the "Bandito's'".

To this day he has to take his Harley on the Ferry to Alaska every summer for the fact he's not allowed in Canada.

So what happened to him in regards to the warrants when he got caught sneaking over? Did Arizona/California pick him up?

I had a minor traffic citation in Canada that I figured I'd not pay because it was in another country. The bastards sent my $120 ticket to collections and it was on my credit report for 7 years! I was 19 when I got the ticket and it didn't fall off until I turned 26...Good thing is I had no credit and didn't even know that it was on there until maybe 22 or 23 years old (first time I ran a free annual credit report). And when I applied for my first credit card they didn't care about the collections and approved me for $1000.

He got extradited to a few states, did his time and went back to Washington state and then back up to Alaska. It was a grand childhood. Had a guy shoot another guy in my parents kitchen while I was watching Scooby Doo in the living room...that's when my step dad was still riding with a local group called the Iron Lords, and some guy trying to get into the Gypsy Jokers thought he would make a name for himself. This was when my step dad and mom used to keep their bikes in the rec room until our barn got finished and then they kept them locked up in a horse stall. The Feds got involved and me, my brothers and sister had to move in with relatives to finish the school year for the fact the Feds were worried there would be reprisals starting with my parents.

The Canucks are major pr*cks imo...but the US side sends minor traffic tickets including parking tickets to collections. I didn't no they did, and I had hundreds of dollars in parking tickets from Seattle when I was hanging iron downtown. They union gave us money to pay for parking, but like a dumb ####### I kept the money and threw away the parking tickets they left on my windshield every day. That one cost me well over a grand. :(

<_< Yup, yet another tunnel discovered! It seems clear to me that I should just get my wife to Mexico right away and then have her cross the border into the U.S. that way. It would be faster!

That be the one. The ones in Washington are based in Tacoma, and as far as I know it's because of this the Angels have to take off their colors when they cross the Oregon border into Washington when they do their summer ride. They are escorted by the state troopers from the Oregon border to Canada. They weren't allowed in Washington so what they did was send up a group called the Gypsy Jokers ...a group affiliated with the Angles and next thing you know the shootings started. It was like a war zone for a while. This was back in the mid '70's ...when I was in elementary school.

I remember the Gypsy Jokers, Devils Disciples, Pagans and Outlaws along with HA. The Pagans are an Eastern US club. There are Outlaw and HA chapters out here too, along with their affiliate clubs.
