Was your check cashed? You said you sent paperwork in twice?

It can take more than a week to get NOA1 but the important thing is did they cash the check?

NOA1 - 12/21/15

NOA2 - 04/18/16

NVC Receive - 04/29/16

NVC Welcome - 05/13/16

DS-261 - 05/14/16

AOS, IV PAID - 05/27/16

DS260 done - 06/10/16

Case Transferred to US Embassy in Riga Latvia at the end of October.

If you really want it, you'll find a way!

swanman76,

Did you clear up the multiple petition issue from August?

If so, then you should be receiving the NOA-1 very soon.

swanman76,

Without confirmation that the I-130 has been withdrawn, you are complicating your case exponentially. As I suggested earlier, you need to meet with USCIS - In-person, by way of an Infopass appointment. If you continue on the current course, flooding USCIS with petitions, letters and further petitions; you will wait years for resolution.....

i sent this express mail to lewisville tx like it said in the instructions from immigration and they recieved it on 22 aug because i looked online for mail confirmation ..I am just worried that there is an issue because i do not have a NOA 1. Is it because of the first initial paperwork is still in process of getting witdrawn..I really dont know what is going on

So what is going to happen with the I-129 F that I sent, will this not go through the system

swanman1976,

The letter of withdrawal was appropriate, however, an Infopass appointment may have been more effective. You should have waited for confirmation of the initial I-130 and I-129f petition withdrawal, prior to submitting another one.

I strongly suggest that you call USCIS, make an Infopass appointment and attempt to clear this up in-person.

So how long is this process going to take now ..me and my fiance have been waiting since May already..I know it all takes time .but I am just trying to do this all right. So after I sent the withdrawal letter I shouldnt have sent the I-29 f ..because I already sent it and I hope this matter can be resolved. Do you know when they will send me a NOA 1. Thamks

swanman1976,

I edited your post to exclude my text, since it was combined into one message. Your words are exactly as written.

Do you have an issue with the advice to make an Infopass appointment with USCIS? If you just wait this out, it will be a very long journey for you. You must take action to fix this issue.

Yes I will call them tomarrow, so if i set this appointment up does that mean I have to file the I-129f all over again because I already sent that one....and How long will this take after the appointment..

If you conduct the InfoPass appointment with all documents in hand, you may be able to clear this up on the spot. That said and if everything is cleared up on the InfoPass appointment, it would be only a few weeks to NOA-1.

Be sure to bring copies of all documentation sent to USCIS for the appointment.

All the best for a fast resolution to your issues.
