Marriage in the Philippines

hi everyone!

I know my fiance has to submit her birth certificate for our marriage license but do I as a USC have to provide my birth certificate or will I just need my passport and the AFFIDAVIT IN LIEU OF CERTIFICATE OF LEGAL CAPACITY TO MARRY?

You need a photocopy of your birth certificate, your passport, and the certificate of legal capacity from the embassy in order to get a marriage license and get married in the Philippines. If you are divorced, you need to present the divorce decree too.

I'm the USC petitioner as well. Passport and Legal Capacity letter were the items I presented.

You only need your copy of your passport and your AFFIDAVIT IN LIEU OF CERTIFICATE OF LEGAL CAPACITY TO MARRY. Your passport has all the info were you are born as the same as a birth certificate. Make sure you make an appointment at the Embassy for your AFFIDAVIT IN LIEU OF CERTIFICATE OF LEGAL CAPACITY TO MARRY and also check for the amount they charge last year the cost was 50 dollars but check the web site.

I checked with the consulate in Cebu and they can give me my AFFIDAVIT IN LIEU OF CERTIFICATE OF LEGAL CAPACITY TO MARRY there. This website makes me feel confident that everything will work out and I will be able to get everything processed. Thanks for the hope everyone!

So my fiance went to the Civil registrar to ask for the requirements to get married and they told her that I need a CENOMAR, CEDULA, and Barangay Clearance. Im a USC so I'm a little confused as to how I would go about getting those. This is the Cebu City Civil Registrar she went to. Is that information right?
