I came to the US 10 years ago with a F-1 student visa and I met my husband while in school. We married in 2008 and I got my conditional green card early 2009. I just realized recently that I missed the I-751 (remove conditional status) filing deadline for about half a year. We are happily married. Should I go ahead to file I-751 with an explanation letter. Or alternatively, since we are filing so late and our concern is this late I-751 filing is likely to be denied, should we just start over and file I-485 and I-130 for adjustment of status?

Also, we don't have very strong reason for late filing. The reasons we have are both of us changed jobs last year and we moved several times, etc. We were very busy and didn't pay much attention about our GC issue. So will these reasons be acceptable?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
