Helppp , my Conditional greencards will expire 09/10/2011. I'm currently out of the country. what do you recommend?

Do you think they will let me into the country if i arrived to the airport on the 8th of Sep while i have two days left to the expiration date?

I will send the papers for the I-751 tomorrow to the visa center, it should arrive on 09/7/2011, 3 days before the end of the 90 days notice. will that be ok? how long does it take them to file the case and send the receipt? do they only send the receipt by mail or they can send it electoniclly as well.

July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

As long as the forms arrive and are accepted BEFORE your card expires you'll be fine there.

What address did you put on the ROC paperwork? If you put your US address you'll get your extension letter sent there. until you get that you'll be unable to use your GC so you NEED to be back in the US before your card expires. You're cutting it very close!

Thanks guys... i know that i'm really late on this. I and my wife got really busy and smart with this:(

Do you know if it will be a problem to enter the country 09/08 while the Conditional GC will expire 09/10? will they give me hard time?

After they receive the I-751 form and accepting it, how long will it take them to sent the receipt? they only send it by regular mail? or they can send by email as well?

How long does it take them to review the papers to ack the filling?

Yes,

your Green Card is valid until the very day it expires. You will have no problem entering again (as long as you were not absent from the U.S. for an untoward amount of time) and it's also no problem to file the I-751 on the very last day.
