The incredible hypocrisy of so many of these RWN tea partiers who claim to be fundamentalist christian while espousing the most UN-Christian of politics is breath-taking! What better way to get society to shut up about the fact that they didn't want to go into this war to begin with than making it the war that was about 'democracy.' Who didn't have a democratic vote though? Who was it that had been pushing a huge movement especially starting in 1913? Women. What better way to shut people up than to give them a little something to keep their mouths shut on the war.

Let's be honest, for every person for it, there were the same against it. Keep everyone arguing about 'social issues' while we the government go over here to the Bretton Woods conference and create a world economy. Help people get over JFK and the controversy of his assassination, as well as setup and get by with fabricating an incident for further US involvement in the Vietnam Conflict. People at home were bickering and arguing over "black and white issues" and seemed to forget everything else going on around them until a few years later when it was too late.
