My spouse is going to get the medical done next week. On the same day we are planning to submit the documents to the VFS if we get the medical report in hand in time.

My question(s) is/are

1. What time do you get the medical report . The VFS hrs. are between 8AM - 1PM and then 2PM - 3PM. Do you get enough time to collect the medical report and rush to VFS and submit before VFS closes at 3PM?

2. Is it mandatory to submit the medical report at the VFS along with other papers? Can you submit other documents (Courier fee ,Passport photocopy, photos) at VFS and carry the medical report at the time of interview ?

Thanks

1. Usually you will have the medical in the early morning 8-9 am. Depending on the amount of medical appointments that day expect to wait 4-5 hours for your appointment. That very same day you will be asked to pick up your medical packet in the early evening 4-5 PM.

2. It is suggested that you turn in as much as you can to VFS before the interview to make the process easier for the consulate. If you do turn in the medical report to VFS, they will ask your to carry in the x-ray into the interview yourself.

Good Luck.
