I am helping my friend complete his K-1 for his fiancee. I went through this a year and a half ago and am a little foggy. I remember giving my fiancee (now wife) 3 years tax returns along with banking letter and employment letter. However I don't see tax returns being shown for the interview on the Guides section. Is it necessary for him to supply the tax returns? Reason is he has ample income but has been very late in filing last years returns for various reasons. He can supply pay stubs and W-9s. He woud prefer to take his time on his returns as it is a complicated issue and requires the help of a specialized accountant.
