Maiden Name on Passport Question on International travel

I have a question regarding return travel from US to Canada. My Canadian passport still shows my maiden name as I have not yet applied for a new passport with my married name and my greencard and all other ID show my married name. Just wanted to find out which name others have used to book their travel in this situation? It is my understanding that when I fly internationally the plane ticket has to match the passport name and I just want to make sure this is correct and that it is okay to book my ticket (both ways)in my maiden name? Also, when I return home from Canada to US will they ask to see my Greencard? Is it sufficient to show them a copy of my marriage certificate to support the name change on my green card which has the the married name? Would appreciate all help from people who have travelled recently. Thanks.

You need to show marriage certificate passport and green card on entry to the USA from Canada.

Tickets need to be in the name on the passport. No need to show green card on entry to Canada unless they ask to see it.

Yes - bringing your marriage cert along with you will be sufficient to prove the difference between the passport and your GC.

There has been a trend lately that the Canadian border guards do ask about your status and may ask to see your GC - be prepared to show it.

This...I was asked for my green card (along with my passport) when I entered Canada back in June.
