Just wait until the end of this week to be certain about the interview. They schedule throughout the month so I doubt you would have to wait until the second week of November.

You could have done the fiancee visa but you have to remember you have to get married in the USA, and she will not have a green card. You have pay about $1000 dollars to adjust her status and then she can get her green card.

With a spouse visa when she comes to the USA she's coming with a green card.

BIG difference and the price is different as well.

I understand that you are wanting to try and get her here faster. I want the same for my wife as well. But have patience. As the petitioner you should be supporting the beneficiary as they are going to leaving everything they have known all their lives for you. Support them...that is what they need right now.

Is Hondurus consulate a busy one? I know 3 weeks of waiting is hard - but just be patient and you will hear something soon.

Dave is right. Also almost all going to different consulates (busy or not) are getting information that November is done in the first week of October itself. It looks like too many holidays (for India) and also many visitor and student visas that get priority. All the best for an early December interview date.

Our consulate isnt even that busy and my interview was scheduled 2 months out. I think most of it has to do with the holidays. Any holiday means a giant supra with lots of food and wine and no work! All we can do is talk daily and make plans for our next trip.

So we started making our plans and then it all of the sudden hit me that HOLY S*@T this is it!!! Not only am I planning our next visit together but this is the last "visit"! It will be the beginning of the rest of our lives together! There is so much to do... I better get the house ready and all those other things! Then suddenly November 30th isnt all that far away lmao!

Find the fun and humor in it any chance you can and the days will pass much faster!

I have been watching the schedules put out for Mumbai consulate since I filed for my wife in April. They have been busy throughout the year but the past few month have been very busy at least from my point of view. Usually Mumbai puts on the next month's schedule around the 15th of the month. Well for October and November they went up almost simultaneously. This pretty much tells you they are busier than normal.

NVC gets the dates from the consulate and then they schedule the dates. I don't think NVC is hiding anything, it's flat out Mumbai is busy beyond capacity. This time of the year is also bad due to the influx of holidays this time of year.

I really do understand you missing her. I really really do. I miss my wife every second of the day. It's a tough situation my friend. Just think of the positives. This is the longest separation you will most likely have from each other. This is also another true test for your love for each other, if you can get thru this than nothing or anyone can stand in your way for each other. Just keep thinking of things that you will do when you meet again, and what your life will be like once your reunited with your loved one. These are the things that get me through the days. It's hard to do, but it's just something that we are faced with right now and have to do. Calling your wife and skyping with her really make this time special. Keep going my friend, the finish line is near.

If you want to talk or anything, don't hesitate to send me a private message here.

Good Luck to you both!

LOL...

The house and our room has been ready at my parents for quite some time now. My parents are getting just as anxious as I am getting here home. I did not decorate the room though. Just got the dresser and closet ready to go. I want to select pictures and items togeather to decorate our room. This is a good way to spend some time together shopping and having fun during the holiday times!

Christmas time during Easton and Polaris malls are awesome!

This could be another factor.

It is to my understanding they newer consulate will have more windows to perform interviews thus making the workflow faster and quicker.
