Im sorry...Im new...Please I can not see the list of appointments for nov 2011 or dec 2011 at the usa embassy in bogota colombia?? why?? please...how did the colombian people whose have interview in nov 2011 find out? OMG i need help...

I called NVC and they gave me the date, a few days later I got an interview letter through e-mail. Now that they've started up the new embassy website, I believe you can schedule your appointment through there https://usvisa-info.com/en-CO/selfservice/ss_country_welcome . Have you called NVC to see if you've gotten a date yet? You can try e-mailing the embassy to see if the new scheduling for CR-1/IR-1 visas is taking place or if they're still sending out the e-mails ivbogota@state.gov . I haven't heard when immigrant visas will be able to start doing online scheduling.

They changed the process for Colombia in October and stopped updating the appointment list at that time... - K1s set there own appointment and CR-1s are still done by NVC. You can call NVC to get your appointment time or log in with your NVC number through the portal from the Bogota embassy web page.

I depart for Georgia on sunday! I cant believe I am finally down to my last week of waiting! I cannot wait to hold him in my arms and wrap this whole thing up for good! Will be so nice to have someone to lay my head on during our plane ride home :rofl: And for every night thereafter! :thumbs:

We spoke this afternoon for quite a while. His medical exam is done... had to get two injections although he wasnt sure what ones. Paperwork from the medical is complete and has been sent to the consulate! We are now ready for our interview!!! :dancing:

my husband was interview on Nov 23rd at New Delhi. we arrived there at 6:30 embassy open on 7:30.

after clearing security he was taken for finger printing. after finger printing he was called up by a Indian officer and she asked him about medical reports and his police clearance he give those documents to the lady & told him to wait. after 20 mint his name called by American Co. he asked him only 2 question

where do you guys meet?

he came out from embassy after 1 and half hour.

Co give him 1 letter its says

" Please bear us while your case undergoes mandatory administrative processing.

We have retained your passport to more quickly process your visa when the processing has been completed. when the processing is complete, we will send your passport and visa to you via VFS."

i just want to why Co give this letter? does that mean we are approved.

What is the meaning of mandatory administrative processing? Please dont mind me asking but are there any red flags in your case like age difference, previous divorce etc. Asking since I have an interview coming up.

Think hard about your relationship and see anything that is out of the "norm" for Indian cultural marriages.

Think hard about your relationship and see anything that is out of the "norm" for Indian cultural marriages.

we are from sikh religion. my husband don't have any granted visa before.

we have arranged marriage.

maybe there is problem for education. because my husband he is really good educate and i am not.

Dave I have a valid tourist visa currently. Why is that a problem?

It's just something for them to look into. Not a big problem at all.
