Good morning! Just wondering whether LANDED IN USA thread moved to somewhere? If you know where the thread is , please share it with us so that everyone can keep a track of it.

USCIS:

3/14/11 - I -130 sent to USCIS Chicago Lockbox

3/18/11 - NOA1

6/16/11 - NOA2

NVC:

7/19/11 - NVC Case Number

8/31/11 - Case Completed

9/13/11 - Interview Date received

Chennai Consulate:

9/23/11- Medical Test Scheduled

10/24/11- Interview @ Chennai Consulate at 1 PM Chennai Consulate

10/24/11- VISA APPROVED

US:

POE: 11/10/11

Thanks to everyone for the congrats.

My wife did her POE over the weekend; she lives along the border, so she just drove up and took care of it on Saturday. She said it was nice and smooth, it just was a long wait. The officer just confirmed with her that the address stated in her packet was the address where she planned to live, and that was it.

Hopefully the green card will come in the mail soon, and then we're done with USCIS until the fall of 2013. :-)

THANK YOU! Interview tomorrow. I hope that by the time I wake up I have our approval!

Husband just went through interview. I'm pretty sure he got approved. He just called me to e-mail a copy of my mom's green card to the embassy. He told him they kept his passport and made him sign something (I'm guessing DS-230). The lady that helped him was really nice and also told him to check today the new embassy website to where he wants the visa delivered but he didn't actually hear her say "approved." We only talked a couple of minutes so I will find out more later.

That definitely sounds like an approval. In my wife's case the CO never said approved but that they will mail the documents and those would be delivered in 7 - 10 business days. I guess each CO has his own style.

So Congrats and all the best with receipt of the visa and POE experience.

The CO gave him a letter to request more information (mom's green card) and on the top it said "you have been approved" and gives him instructions on the actualy visa (where he could get it and such). We're elated right now. My husband's still in shock so I couldn't get much more information from him but once I do, I will write the review =)

Congrats!! With the speed they have been getting the visas out of Colombia he should have it ready to pick up around next Monday.. Good stuff!

Sorry for the belated updates, been busy reuniting with my sons and hubby!

I POE'ed into LA, with my dog. No problems, in fact they were very laid back. The only thing I found a bit unusual, was they didn't seem to know who should process it and left the all important envelope and my passport on the end of a counter where anyone could of picked it up!

It stayed there for probably 30 minutes, then my dog started barking in the airport as he heard me talking..so they sped it through!

I then took a connecting flight to Vegas a few hours later. A long journey finally completed.

Im sorry...Im new...Please I can not see the list of appointments for nov 2011 or dec 2011 at the usa embassy in bogota colombia?? why?? please...how did the colombian people whose have interview in nov 2011 find out? OMG i need help...
