OK, I got the brown visa envelope, took my passport out, but where the bleep is the visa??

Is it inside the envelope in with the documents in the part we cant open? Or Should it have been in with my passport?

Confused....

Also, what other or forms documents do need I with for POE entry beside the brown envelope for the I-R1? cant find any info on that.

Thanks...

If it's a US passport then you won't need a visa I believe......someone please correct me if I'm incorrect.

Its a Philippine passport, I-R1 visa to the U.S.

well the visa is stamped in ur passport then, and the brown envelop shouldnt open coz thats wat u need to submit at the port of entry. How long it took u to have that delivered from the time u had ur interview?

Thank you for the clarification. I wasn't sure if they issued a US passport due to all the passport pics they require. Sorry for my assumption OP!

Thanks for all ur answers! needed to know what to bring to get CFO sticker in Manila just the

Passport/Visa? any other copies of anything?

Also what other documents do I need at POE besides the brown envelope?

The visa /brown envelope took 8 to 11 days to get, the carrier sent word that your visa arrived, on 8th day

which was on a Friday, but they wouldnt deliver it to my town, so had to travel 3 hours one way on a bus to pick it

up at the carriers store which was on a Monday 11th day cuz not open on weekends in PH.

Not sure if you are saying you only need teh sticker or if you mean you will be taking the seminar at CFO but if it is the seminar you should go to the CFO website they have a list of documenmts you will need. It is more than just your Visa. Also I have heard from many that they may ask to see a copy of your fiance's most recent tax return even tho it is not listed in te requirements. here is the link and goodluck! Bec. You are done with your CFO Seminar all you need to bring with you to have your CFO sticker in your passport are...

1.Xerox Copy of your Passport and Visa (Bring the Original)

2.Xerox Copy of Immigrant Visa Summary (it was Stapled in the Brown Envelope)

Note: DO NOT UN staple it

3.Xerox Copy of Your CFO CErtification

Thats all they asked me when i have my CFO Sticker in CEBU...and They haven't let me pay anything coz i have payed it after i got Seminar the 1st time i went there.......Hope this will help you..Goodluck.....

I found a thread here on visa journey that shows what the stamp looks like (or looked like back then): http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/108218-what-does-i-551-stamp-look-likefor-cr-1/

Best wishes for a wonderful journey!

Look at your passport for visa, do not open other envelope or you are toast..

Well, toast probably won't mean anything to her and she said she opened the envelope to get her passport. Probably the mailing envelope. Inside that is a sealed envelope, don't open that one.

Cause heart attacks much?
