Alright, well long story short things didn't work out between me and my husband. I've been getting A LOT of help and good advice from people and I really appreciate it. Hopefully this will be my last question.

When we split up, we were in the middle of the AOS process to get his temporary green card. We haven't gotten divorced yet because neither of us can afford it. On another thread, I was informed that once I canceled the Affidavit of Support (thus canceling the application) he'd have 30 days to leave the country. There is no way a divorce is happening within that timeline. His concern is that somehow leaving the country before we get divorced is going to affect him negatively somehow. I don't think it will, but he's worried that he won't be allowed in the country next time he comes for a visit. So what's the truth? Will it be a problem for him in the long run? Thanks again :)

No it won't be a problem at all. If he's worried he can make an INFOPASS and talk to them then. He is certainly not the only person to get divorced from someone who lives in another country. It won't be a problem.
