Hi Everyone,

Does the I-693 medical need to be sent in at the same time as the I-485/I-131? Also, does anyone know what vaccines/blood tests etc need to be done for a 25 year old female with no vaccination record? I don't think the civil surgeon (from uscis list) we went to knows what they are doing. They gave tb skin test (positive), chest xray (negative), and tetanus vaccine. I'm thinking the doctor is missing MMR/varicella/syphillis blood test and maybe influenza. If the civil surgeon messes up does that screw up our application? Thanks

Not sure what visa you entered on but if K1 then you would have had a medical and had all the vaccinations. You need to check the guides here and yes you need to fill in I-693 vaccinations only if you have had a medical and it is still valid.

You should have the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), tetanus and diphtheria, polio, pertussis, influenza and Hep B vaccines, at least. If you did not get these in your home country, or you do not have proof that you did, you need to get the civil surgeon to either administer the vaccines or test your blood for antibodies to determine whether or not you have gotten the vaccine earlier.

And yes, if the civil surgeon does not include all the required information in the I-693 form, you will get an RFE to resubmit the form with complete information. Unfortunately it will backfire on you if the doctor does not do his/her job right, so I'd definitely call them back and ask about the other vaccinations.
