I thought I saw someone in the August Filers that their NO1 was actually sept 02 and he received his NO2 Already...!!!

USCIS:

09/06/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

09/07/11 - I130 Received

09/09/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to CSC)

02/27/2011 - NOA2 via text/email/website -I130 Approved!

Here's the update and some questions:

We sent our papers to Chicago Lockbox last September 26th, 2011. Got a mail from USCIS which is the I-797C. Is that the NOA1?

Is the USCIS will send you again a notice if they forward your documents to the service center?

It is in the form that my receipt number is WAC+10digit number. What is the 3 letters (WAC) means?

Our priority date and the received date is September 29, 2011. Notice Date is September 30, 2011. So which dates did the USCIS put it into their system?

What is INA means?

Thanks for taking time reading this.

Thanks MDM24 for the quick reply. Hmmp, I thought that for CSC service center they will put CSC+10 digit number on the receipt number.

How about your application, what service center it is routed? I read some post that Vermont service center process fast.

NOA2 would be the decision made about your petition (hopefully approval, of course)

yeah, I've seen some people getting their I-130 approved in 30 days through Vermont, but mine is through CSC.. so my receipt also has the three letters WAC in front of the numbers

I see. Well good luck to both of us and the only thing we can do is to PRAY for the speed process and there will be no problem

oh, and yes, your application must have been put into their internal system the 29 of september, however, sometimes it takes them a few days to update it on the webpage (at the uscis.gov) so, you may be able to check your case online, or you may need to wait to be able to verify the information online; you can always call them...

Hi everyone, I filed for I130 for my wife with a priority date for Sept 13th. I then went ahead and filed for K3 visa also but I am expecting the CR1 to be completed first. I have heard long wait times for the interview in Montreal, does anyone have any more info on the montreal interview scheduling process?
