My 189th day is on March 30. Hope my husband will get the NOA2 by then. 

Hi everybody,i filed my I 130 sep 6 and still waiting for my NOA1, Have a question for you guys,i did not mail E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance form G1145 with my docs,my question is:

I'm new jersey too!! Hunterdon County! Small world :)

We should relabel this as the New Jersey thread, got so many of us here!

I felt like that too before I got mine...my husband would ask me everyday if I looked and I would say no because it was always a dissapointment....Yours really is any time now with your dates, hang in there :yes:

I am trying to hang in there. This is really starining our relationship also. Things would have been so much easier if we were together but the distance has made it even more difficult for us to resolve our issues.

I hope you get approved few days frOm now.  im excited to hear a lot of good news!

9/17/2011 - sent I-13

09/19/2011 - noa1 received

3/16/2012 - case sent to my local USCIS office for additional processing

4/21/2012 - AP. If we haven't heard from them in SIX MONTHS (omg) we can feel free to call them!!! Thanks!

9/20/2012 - Interview scheduled - October 3!!!!

10/3/2012 - Interview went well but she must look at his A-file more before decision.

10/12/2012 - I-130 APPROVED! APPROVED! APPROVED!

KIDS' CASES

04/20/2012: NOA107/20/2012: instead of an approval, we got thrown into AP. sigh

11/01/2012: Boys' I-130 interview set for November 28, 2012.

I just came back from a weekend in early March so it hasn't been that long... but everything in life is on hold until this visa thing so I don't really know if visiting will help much.

WE'VE BEEN TOUCHED!!!!!

If we weren't in removal proceedings, this would have been a I-130 approval. But since we are, we got this:

On March 16, 2012, we transferred this case to your USCIS local field office for additional processing. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

I'm guessing this means that we will have an I-130 interview and if approved then we move on to the interview with the immigration judge to ask to be taken off of removal proceedings.

This is what we expected. All though it's an approval, I'm just SO HAPPY that our case has been touched after 6 whole months of collecting dust. It must have been so lonely!!! :-)

The amount of happy that I am, you would have thought We had gotten approved today!

Just so you guys know, I did call to check on my case yesterday. The guy put me on hold for about 2 minutes and then came back and said I am still in normal processing time. I sadly said, "ok. Thanks" and hung up. I don't know if that had anything to do with today's touch or just coincidence.
