WOW!!! Finally got approved on the 189th day....felt like this day would never arrive

Thank You God!!!!

Congratulations! I got the notification when you updated your timeline last night. everytime my phone beeps at night I am hopeful that it might be the USCIS but I was glad that at least someone from Canada who has been waiting longer than me got approved. When people who have been waiting less than you get approved it is so disheartening. Here is wishing you a speedy journey through the NVC.

Thank you MCM I really hope you hear something soon...this journey so far has been nothing short of a nightmare ...but the waiting is by far the worst.. I am going to wait now for the notice so I have it to show at the border and then hopefully I will be with my husband for the rest of this journey.

So I called USCIS again today. They told me what I had expected, they are still processing August 2nd date petitions. The person did say that they are expecting that date to be updated soon within the week and they have been processing faster so it could be that it will be close to or even after my date of September 13th. That did give me some hope. I am so tired of this waiting. Yesterday I was so depressed over this, today is a little better but not by much.

I had contacted my congressman's office again today a few hours ago and I got a reply just now that my case is currently being reviewed by an officer. I am so excited! I hope it is approved very soon! I cannot wait!
