Ok So I am now at my 188th day of waiting on this precious NOA2 where are you triangle where the hell are you? Yeah I just had to vent....to sugars of trini how do you know that the embassy in Trinidad and Tobago is unfair at times. Please share with me what you hear or encounter there please...Cause I am a trini and thats the hole I would eventually be crawling into for y interview. I seriously do not want any suprises.

I had called USCIS today to check the status of my application. They asked me if I have received anything in the mail after my NOA1 and I said no. The agent was surprised that I have received any interview/bio metrics appointments and she created a service request. Is that normal? I have called USCIS a lot of times before but no one had told me anything about it. The agent also told me that I have wasted about 6 months of time(since my NOA1 was in sep).

Am I missing something here?

The agent probably thought that you were doing AOS. I can't think of anything else. A normal CR1 process does not have those steps. You basically have to wait till you receive the NOA2 until you can do anything.

I am on day 175. on Igor's list I have fallen down to 130 now. I am hoping that by next week I would be in the top 100. Would that be possible?

The agent probably thought that you were doing AOS. I can't think of anything else. A normal CR1 process does not have those steps. You basically have to wait till you receive the NOA2 until you can do anything.

I am on day 175. on Igor's list I have fallen down to 130 now. I am hoping that by next week I would be in the top 100. Would that be possible?

Nuh-uh...if you read the case status details on the USCIS website, you'll see that they sometimes call the petitioner (the US citizen) to a local office for an additional interview/biometrics.

Priority date: 14th October 2011

NOA 2: 23rd March 2012

Case Complete at NVC: 29th May 2012

Interview schedule for 30th July 2012 > Result: Administrative Processing / Green slip 221(g)

AP ended on 29th August - Passport in hand!!

You need to call back. This information is wrong. Make sure they have the right name and WAC number.

Even if the case is set up for petitioner interview there is no biometrics ordered.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Im going to have to try to look it back up, I think i went throught each and every trini's profile and found their bad experiences. it was not in the embassy comments tho. BUT there was also ppl with very good easy experiences, DONT PANIC. lolll. Just do your research.

If it makes you feel any better you're one day ahead of me, which means you should hear one day sooner! Also, I believe you're at 181 today, counting from your priority date. Hang in there.

Sept 9, 2011: NOA1

March 16, 2012: NOA2

April 10, 2012: NVC Case Number Assigned, AOS Invoice Received

April 11, 2012: OPTIN for EP with DS-3032 sent, AOS bill paid

April 12, 2012: AOS Package Sent

April 17, 2012: IV Bill invoiced, paid

April 19, 2012: IV package sent

April 20, 2012: Checklist for AOS asking for letter of employment, response sent

I can't believe this, I waited so patiently for the NOA2, and finally I got it about a week ago; but now I feel desperate about NVC!! I tried calling and they still don't have a case # for me. but I wasn't feeling this anxious about the NOA2, now I'm just desperate... I just want my wife to be able to come SOON!!!!!!this is making me insane.. I don't know how you all do it; fortunately for me, my wife lives very close to the border, in Mexico and I travel every few weeks, but still I'm so anxious to have her here... I'm going crazy here..! :wacko:

And she keeps track of how long it is taking to get a case number and I think it is about 2-3 weeks right now
