Perhaps we are being given wrong information....it is not the first time. Other forums have had the same miscommunication on this issue. Not that anyone is being deliberately lied to but they have the freedom to tell us pretty much what they want...

Hi everybody,i filed my I 130 sep 6 and still waiting for my NOA1, Have a question for you guys,i did not mail E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance form G1145 with my docs,my question is:

SO yesterday I contacted my congressman from his website. I received an automated reply and that has been it so far. I have heard that he has been very helpful with immigration related requests before. I am hoping that he will get back to me soon.

My congressman is Frelinghuysen from New Jersey 11th district.

Though my application status is currently F2A, I guess I can make it to be CR1 before it comes out of CSC with all the possible RFE (god forbid) or their snail-pace processing.

Case has not been touched since 9/9.

Seems like the late half of July and Early half of August is geting some action from CSC :thumbs:

Maybe the ealry have of march, late half of aug and early half of Sept will get some action.

SO that leaves me at early half of April i guess. Im a late half of sept filer :hehe:

Now the timelines are suggesting approval between March 9th and April 5th for me. This is really encouraging. But I have seen them change so many times before to be convinced by them.

People dont update their timelines often. I am believing many more people have been approved than what is shown. I am also considering the amount of applicants that are not on VJ. I would like to believe I will hear something before April, I would like to believe it would be by the end of the month...hope is the only thing thats keeping me sane. Husband will call on 22nd as this marks 5 months for us. Im sure he will be asking lots of questions! I would like to be approved in the next few weeks. That would be awesome!

You're right. I read somewhere that VJ accounts for less than 2 percent of total applicants to Egypt, for example, and of that 2%, unfortunately many people do NOT update their timelines... i don't see why, its so easy and helps so many... SIGH... we have the same NOA1 by the way, i hope to hear from them soon... I'm calling them up on Wednesday anyway and plan to plead my case...lol... its worth a try...
