I called last week to find out if my petition was upgraded and the guy told me the my 5mth mark ends on 22nd Feb , to call back if i dont here anything. weird because i wasn't calling concering the wait time, faith that he said that lolll 2 second of wishful thingking. Im going to call today to make tripple sure my petition is upgraded because i saw the hit the "Slow Down" on I-130 for LPR.

Hi everyone-

I have a question in regards to the next step. I have prepared most of the paperwork needed for the next step so that I'm ready to go once our 1-130 is finally approved. But, is it going to matter that the dates on the letters and things (employment letters, etc...) are from Nov. or Dec.? If we don't end up getting approved until March or so, am I going to need more recently dated items?

Thats a good question I prepared all our stuff to. But I did two packet n made a note to get a new job letter before I go to the embassy with hubby. One packet for the NvC n one for the embassy, could never be to prepared especially in Trinidad.

I was really hoping that some Augest petitions would start gettin approved by this time. But it is still mostly mid July ones. I hope by march we start seeing some good news in this thread.

On Igor's list, some sept ones have been adjudicated but that may DCF or they may have had some good luck! :star: I am just assuming they are assigned to our cases and plod through, making decisions as and when.

Thats what we're doing, trying to hold off on the DS-230 until there is some movement. I have the documents ready, its the letters, payslips and police certificate (especially, thats one expensive addition!) I am trying to hold off for incase they expire.

Has anyone heard anything about their petitions yet or spoke to USCIS?

I hope we hear something soon :)
