My story

i got married over seas in 2008.

upon entering the usa i started the proses for my wife to join me.

my wife arrived on august 09 with a 2 year residency card. on 10 our daughter was born.

my question.

1. my wife was schedule for fingers printing, whats the next step?

2. my friends wife just made it to one year, they are currently having problem and they would like to know how long after the process would they be able to divorce each other?

She does not need to wait. As long as she came here with good intentions and she can prove it, she can divorce now and get 10 year green card without remaining married.
