Do I fill out the Application for Marriage Registration now or can I do it in Vietnam? Also when I send in all my document to the SF Consulate do I need to attach the Application for Marriage Registration too or it not require? Because I was thinking of getting the Application for Marriage Registration and Medical Exam in Vietnam. I just receive my Certificate of No-marriage Records, Passport, Affidavit of Single Status document from the Secretary of State, so can I just send those document to the SF Consulate + the fee will they know what to do with out the Application for Marriage Registration?

We probably should "sticky" this thread. If somebody can't handle everything on his/her own after reading this discussion, may I suggest giving the whole stack of paperwork to a lawyer and let him do the legwork for you.

I am not being lazy Phil09 I'm just confuse with the government paper stuff. Mind you this is my first time getting married so I don't know what to do and this is oversea it more difficult. All this stuff just confuse me that all.

then maybe you should hire someone to help you, because if you make any mistakes, it may be costly to resend to the consulate and redo some steps

To quotes a movie, “So how does it happen, great love? Nobody knows... but what I can tell you is that it happens in the blink of an eye. One Moment you're enjoying your life, and the next you're wondering how you ever lived without them.” I felt I found something with Kieu that is rare in life... true love.
