am i the only one that has nver got my k1 app "touched"??????????..im set up for text/email alerts but have nver gotten any !!!!..its almost 3 months

i filed june 6 and got receipt # june 13--nothing since then. no touches no email/text alerts--nothing

Our timeline is very close to yours (6/8/11 & 6/13/11) and we had a touch on 6/15/11, just a couple days after ours arrived, which to me seems like it just got moved from one desk to another and nothing else done with it. We are also set up for all alerts but have heard nothing as of yet. My thinking is that we just keep on being patient Frustrating I know but what else can we do but wait, right?

Hi there, in my case, our application was never once 'touched' - not every case will be and is still being processed. If after 5 or 6 months (check the current processing times) you still haven't heard from them, you can put in a request to look into the case and see what's taking so long. Since you filed in June, you should have a couple of months to go still easily. Good luck though on getting your NOA2 early

My application never got touched, after like 4 months everything moved along pretty quick, they sent to NVC then to the embassy all within a month and a half...now Im waiting for packet 4... :s we are hoping to get an interview call sometime this month for October....at least I am praying for that good luck...

I filed June 13 and got a touch on 8\ 3, but nothing since then. Csc is halfway done with may filters according to processing time lines, so I'm praying that we get noa2 soon, this waiting is sending me over the deep end!

No, I don't think so. I don't understanding this "touch" thing, but when I send in my 129f, they mailed me NOA1. It was 4months and a half before I heard from them saying it's approved

Lots of petitions don't ever show as having been touched and are then just approved. Sometimes a touch can just mean your petition has just been moved from one desk to another - it doesn't mean any specific action has been taken and the notification of a touch seems to be inconsistent in that sometimes it is notified and other times it isn't. In other words it is unreliable and doesn't mean no one is looking at your file. So don't let it worry you.

You need to chill and stop worrying about these touches. You have only been waiting just over 2 months and we were never touched at all just waited for approval. Honestly I can tell you don't look every day if you can cause it only makes you more crazy than ever. Just look once a week or every 3rd day trust me it helps.
