I have a question..I am in Germany right now visiting my Fiance for the second time. However when I arrived my passport was not stamped. How important is it that I have a stamp for my arrival as well as my departure? And if it is necessary is it maybe possible to get it stamped for my arrival date when I am at the airport on my day to depart.

Any help would be much appreciated..Thank You

Printouts of itineraries, Boarding passes and any other document (hotel bills, specially if both names are listed -which is the norm in Europe-, etc) is what you want. It is fairly common that passports don't get stamped in Europe. Of course pictures of the two with backgrounds where it is easy to see you are in Germany (though pics are only secondary evidence)

Thank you very much..I have plenty of other evidence but for some reason they did not stamp my passport when I arrived on the second trip..
