Yesterday we received our biometrics appointment for our AOS from a K-1. It was scheduled four weeks from now. Today, on a calculated whim, we attempted to do a "walk in" to our local DHS/ USCIS office with our appointment letter in hand. To our pleasant surprise, we were in and out within 10 minutes with the biometrics complete. They were super awesome. Now, my question is if it really makes any difference in the timing of when we may expect our EAD/ AP card? Essentially, did it matter that it was done so quickly?

Probably. It depends on whether your application was sitting in a bin waiting for your biometrics to be completed, or whether it was sitting in a bin waiting for some USCIS adjudicator to get through the pile of applications in front of yours.

I don't know can figure this stuff out, aos pending past the 4 month in Phoenix, filed March acknowledgement 4/21./11. They say they are behind using 3/2/11 and stuck on that date for a week. , but I see approvals here?

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
