For me, it's hard to go get care because of ...........well it's humiliating sometimes. Questions about income, how much can you pay, etc.

IDK, it's just really different than putting your insurance card out on someone's desk. It makes you feel second class.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

I've noticed that too. It's a very "American" thing. We're all about independence, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, etc., which in a lot of ways is AWESOME, but in some ways is too extreme.

I get the feeling that many of you are not getting the feeling that you can get healthcare because you are either a) ineligible because of your status in the U.S. for healthcare or b) you and/or your partner are not realizing there ARE options out there for you that will not cost you $$$$$$$.

I'm not republican. I'm not conservative.

But I am bugged that you are all feeling so helpless when I know for a fact you can get care right now if you wanted to...I don't understand who or what is holding you back.

I don't think either system is better than the other. I truly don't. I see major pit falls on both ends. I really don't even think the two can be compared. All I'm saying is if you are sick and you need to be seen, PLEASE be seen. Don't sit there in pain because you don't think you're allowed access to care. You are certainly allowed access. It certainly will be kick-#### care. Don't be in pain, please!!

I remember you started a thread on this, how did you resolve your needs?
